[:es]Cuando era adolescente, inicia con la guitarra aprendiendo folk, pop y canciones de jazz lo cual la llevó a escribir su propia música. Tocó sus primeros conciertos en los cafés de Stuttgart, mientras cursaba secundaria. Más tarde se trasladada brevemente a Berklee College of Music, y termina su licenciatura en el New England Conservatory, donde el pianista Ran Blake se convierte en su mentor y colega. Eade decide permanecer en Boston y enseñar en NEC.

[:en]Dominique Eade studied piano as a child and decided she was going to be a singer in the second grade. Eade picked up guitar as a young teenager, learning folk, pop and jazz songs and writing some of her own. She played her first gigs in the coffee houses of Stuttgart while in high school there.
