[:es]La Fundación Danilo Pérez fue establecida en el año 2005, pero el trabajo y espíritu que personifica su misión tienen sus orígenes hace veinticinco años cuando el pianista Danilo Pérez comenzó a desarrollar programas de educación musical en Panamá y el resto del mundo.

La base del trabajo de la Fundación es la educación musical y en términos más generales, el desarrollo humano. Su propósito es proveer oportunidades para que los jóvenes desarrollen su máximo potencial y lleven una vida productiva.[:en]The Danilo Pérez Foundation was established in 2005, but the work and the spirit that personifies its mission goes back 25 years ago when the pianist Danilo Pérez started to develop musical programs for education in Panama and the rest of the world.

The base of the foundation’s work is music education, and in more general terms, human development. Its purpose is to provide opportunities so that youngsters can develop their maximum potential to lead a productive life.[:]
